Eight months under construction, the 43,000-square-foot superstore is described by company officials as the most modern grocery in the Tri-Cities region.

"It's certainly the nicest store we've ever built here and, I think, it's probably the nicest store in the entire Tri-Cities," K-VA-T President and CEO Steve Smith said.
